Story
Borrow + Bash is a curated event rental company specializing in thoughtfully styled tableware and elevated tabletop details for weddings and gatherings.
Originally founded in Southern California, the company began with a simple idea: that the smallest details at the table can transform an event and create a more intentional, memorable experience for guests. What started as a small collection of pieces quickly grew into a carefully curated inventory designed to help bring beautiful celebrations to life.
Today, Borrow + Bash is based in Portland and proudly serves weddings and events throughout Oregon and Washington. We partner closely with planners, designers, and couples to provide distinctive rentals that feel both timeless and unique.
Our approach is rooted in thoughtful design, quality materials, and the belief that the table is often where the most meaningful moments of a celebration unfold.

Borrow + Bash was founded by Whitney McDonald, whose love of design and thoughtful details sparked the idea that a beautifully set table can transform a gathering. With a background in styling and events, she has always been drawn to the elements that bring warmth and intention to a celebration.
Today, Whitney continues to thoughtfully curate the Borrow + Bash collection with a focus on timeless materials, natural textures, and pieces that layer effortlessly together. The result is a collection designed to help planners and couples create tables that feel elevated, inviting, and uniquely their own.
