After six years in the event and wedding planning world, Whitney McDonald realized her true passion was not just in planning events, but in curating beautiful, intentional details. It all began with thrifting unique tableware pieces, one special find at a time. In 2020, she decided to turn that passion into something more, and Borrow + Bash was born.

Launching a business during uncertain times was not easy, but Whitney stayed inspired. She styled photoshoots, hosted intimate gatherings, and thoughtfully grew the collection piece by piece. As the event world began to thrive again, she knew it was time to expand the vision and build something lasting.

What started as a specialty tabletop rental company has since grown into a full service event rental business. Borrow + Bash now offers curated tabletop pieces alongside chairs, tables, and statement rentals designed to bring events to life.
